Sample mod - Tidal Coast
Las guías de mods están en inglés, tal como vienen con el juego.
Sample mod - Tidal Coast is on the Steam Workshop. Subscribe to it on the Steam Workshop (Options → Mods → Workshop), then restart Torreta. Disable other scenery mods when trying it: the last valid scenery schedule wins for each difficulty.
The first board is already a beach in all three difficulties. Rolling turquoise surf occupies the north, insects emerge in the shallows, sea-worn basalt borders the buildable sand, and palms, broadleaf trees and ferns frame the southern exit. Day, dusk, night and rain use the game's existing lighting and weather. Combat, balance and enemy spawn timing are unchanged.
Edit the coast
Source/TidalCoast.blend contains the complete editable model and packed sand texture. Export its TidalCoast hierarchy as a self-contained GLB with Y up, vertex colors, both UV maps, and no lights, cameras or baked animations. Replace Models/TidalCoast.glb and restart. The repository's scoped builder is tools/art/build_beach_sample.py; rebuilding it replaces this sample's source and GLB, so preserve manual edits first.
The GameplayTiles/Walkable and GameplayTiles/Buildable Empty groups define 200 walking cells and 179 building cells. Shallows and entry/exit approaches are walk-only. Coastal boulders outside those groups block both. Move/add/remove the marker empties to change permissions; Source/tile_layout.json records the initial layout for the authoring script, and is not read by the game. Keep the reserved approaches and a connected route to the south. The clear dry center is for the player's own maze, including the normal randomly generated rubble.
OceanWater/SurfSurface opts into Torreta's built-in animated surf. Its second UV map, ShoreDepth, uses U / UV2.x as distance from shore: 0 at the waterline, 1 in deep water, down to -0.25 for the wet wash strip. UV2.y is unused. The sample normalizes 512 world units to 1; the shader uses this field for wave travel, foam and water color. Make a sufficiently subdivided surface with upward normals just above the sea bed. Keep it low at the insect entry so their bodies remain visible. The water has no solid camera collider and freezes while paused. No executable mod scripts are required or loaded.
scenarios.json selects the same beach from wave 1 for all three difficulties. You can add GLBs and stages to make your own sequence. Keep the same tile markers across stages for guaranteed swaps on the requested wave.
See SCENARIOS.md for coordinates, tile permissions, water authoring, validation and multiplayer compatibility. Existing installed sample folders are never overwritten; back up edits before replacing an older copy.
