How to play
Ten artykuł jest napisany po angielsku.
An alien insect swarm crawls out of a nest at the top of a desert pit and walks to the cave mouth at its south end. Every insect that reaches the cave costs you lives; lose them all and the run is over. Between the nest and the cave is the pit floor, and that floor is yours to build on.
Your first minutes
- A solo run starts with 10 gold and 10 lives, before the bonuses from your level and skill tree.
- Only the
Karabin is available at first. Pick it with 1 (or click it in the tower palette) and hold on a floor tile for a moment to place it. - Insects cannot walk through towers. They take the shortest route that is still open, so every tower you place also reshapes the path. Building a long, winding maze gives your towers more time to shoot. Press T to see the route.
- Towers have three levels. Open a tower's popup to upgrade it, sell it, choose its targeting and, for towers that fire, switch its special ammunition.
- Boulders are scattered across the pit. They block insects and building alike until a
Zbieracz clears them.
Waves and cards
After every wave you choose one of 3 reward cards: a new tower, a bonus for all your towers, a new mechanic, a factory recipe. Rarer cards show up less often. If you dislike the offer, you can reroll it for 10% of your gold (at least 5). See the full list on the Cards page.
Some cards carry a risk: a worm lives under the arena and, from wave 6 on, may drag towers underground at the end of a wave. It picks at random and never takes two neighbours, and the wreckage it leaves blocks that tile until a Collector clears it.
Bosses, gold and upkeep
- Every 5 waves a boss arrives with a pack of minions. Killing it pays skill points, which you spend on permanent upgrades in the skill tree.
- Kills pay gold. Above 12 towers, part of every kill reward goes to tower upkeep, so a maze has to pay for itself.
- Selling a tower that forces the insects onto a longer path makes them recover health, up to 150%.
The end of a run
Clear wave 50 and you win the run and unlock the next difficulty. You can then return to the menu or carry on into endless mode, where waves keep coming and scale without limit. Endless mode pays no experience and no skill points: it is there to see how far you get.
Losing is part of the loop. Every run earns experience for your profile, and levels and skills carry over to the next attempt.
Speed and pause
Space pauses the game and Q cycles the speed between 1×, 2× and 4×. Opening the card screen always brings the speed back to 1×.
